As a transfer accounting student, Neil VanHaaften, joined the Student Ambassador program at George Mason University School of Business to get know his peers and professors, especially because he was attending virtually for his first semester.

Hailey Behrman, a senior marketing student graduating this May, always wanted to explore her Jewish identity, but didn’t know where to start. Behrman sought out Mason Hillel, a nonprofit organization affiliated with George Mason University where students can discover their relationship with Judaism through educational and social programming, including trips to Israel.

Leila Austin, assistant professor of Business Foundations, was named one of the 2021 Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellows. Austin, who has been with the School of Business for the last five years, truly values her role as an educator.

Gretchen Hendricks, instructor of Business Foundations, was named one of the 2021 Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellows. While Hendricks joined the Foundations area in 2016, this wasn’t her first position with the School of Business.

Jeremy E. Plotnick, director of the minor programs at the School of Business, was named one of this year’s Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellows.

Christine Landoll, director of Business Engagement and instructor of Business Foundations, was named one of the 2021 Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellows. Landoll graduated from the School of Business in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and again in 1992 with a Master of Science in Taxation.

Brian K. Ngac, instructor of Information Systems and Operations Management, was named one of 2021 Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellows. Ngac, a soon to be Triple Patriot, graduated from George Mason University in 2016 with a bachelor’s of science and again in 2017 with his master’s of science both in Applied Information Technology. Ngac is currently pursuing his doctorate in Information Technology at Mason’s College of Engineering & Computing.
